Hi, I'm Maria!

Also known as the Traveling Gypsy. Lets take it back to circa 2007, when I first caught the travel bug. I was a student at University of the Arts, a year away from graduating and about to receive my BFA. While attending the university, I also cheered for the Philadelphia Eagles, and had the opportunity to travel with the Team, for the Swimsuit Calendar Shoot, to some exotic destinations...Have I mentioned yet, prior to 2007, I never flew on a plane! Well, yes this was my first time flying and first time leaving the US. These two trips took me to Mexico and Dominican Republic, and after experiencing the culture and beauty I was officially hooked and needed to explore more of the world.

After Graduating, I was in search to fulfill my hunger to create/perform and also in search of more traveling adventures. May 2009 I booked my first post graduation contract, which opened multiple doors for my performing arts career and also opened my eyes and heart to the amazingness God has created in this World. My third flight in history and here I am embarking on a Mediterranean tour to Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Turkey with a little mix of some Caribbean, while being paid to do so. My outlook of life officially changed! Since that moment I've continued to count my blessing and have had the amazing opportunity to step foot on all seven continents, 75 countries and counting.

These opportunities and experiences have changed my life. They opened my eyes to see the World in a very different light. I have seen all different kinds of cultures and lived versatile life styles and traditions. Every moment in the last ten years has been a truly humbling experience, and has taught me to keep an open mind, a no judgement mentality, and positive outlook on life.

The purpose of this blog is not only focus on Travel but all adventures of life. If you know me, you know that I love to spread that positive energy as much as I can. I look forward to share my daily smiles with you and to keep the Love spreading around the world. Every post will be a new adventure hopefully with some inspiration and new motivation.
